What happens to traditional media?

Today i found a very interesting article about how Traditional media lose ground to Social media. Is not a mister that nowadays Social media has more power than the Traditional media. More and more publication have their online platform. Whether is a newspaper, a magazine or even a book. Everything you want is online. Just search on google and you will find everything.

The article that i read was about a report made by Edelman. In their study they found that 63% of UK consumers spend more time on the internet for their entertainment needs and that 40% spend more time on social media than in 2010.

Regarding the PROs it is to say that they should progressively look to social media to influence consumers and downscale their use of traditional media.

I was just thinking that is a pity that we spend so much time online. We all know how important is socialising but not through online platforms but face to face. You get to understand better someone when you hear his voice, see his body language and you can look into his eyes. Even if is something personal or professional we don't have to forget how important and deep face to face meetings are.
